Stefan followed when she began leading him towards the building again. It was true, he'd feel safer with Elena close by, even though he hated having to rely on her for things like this. He wished he could take care of himself, but he was just no match for a full-grown vampire, no matter how clever he was about it.
Stefan nodded slowly, grinning, appraising the prospect. Still, it wasn't all about sex for him. He loved the nights when she stayed over, with or without his parents knowing, just so he could hold her in his arms and wake up to the sight of her gorgeous face. "Hey, don't you make fun of my teenage hormones," he laughed, stepping ahead of her with one long stride so he could hold the door to the apartment complex open for her. He watched her, head tilted against the door he held open, a happy smile on his lips. "Anyway, my teenage hormones don't have to be screaming for me to say yes, Elena." If it meant getting to spend more time with his gorgeous vampire girlfriend, he'd always say yes. Hell, he'd run to the moon and back again if he had to.
