Damon broke from his thoughts when he heard a voice. He turned in the direction it was coming from and he spotted a girl looking straight at him. His eyes moved up and down her body. Her clothes were nothing like what he was used to seeing on women, but he was hardly a man of modesty so it didn't bother him as much as it would, say, Stefan. Damon had also noticed while walking that not many dressed as he was used to seeing. That made this place even more confusing.
"Hello, mi'lady," he said, giving a deep bow to her, as was customary behavior of a southern gentleman. He dropped the Italian count act. He didn't know how far the news got out that Count Damon DeSangue was wanted for the murder of his new wife and her family. He really didn't need to be arrested again, even if it wouldn't be hard to get back out. Human jails were nothing to him now. Compel a few guards, break a few bars and he'd be out.
"Might you know where we are?" he asked when he stood back to full height. The girl was pretty. Her dark hair and skin tone reminded him of Katherine. The beautiful vampire that Stefan had been responsible for the death of. Damon knew that Stefan wasn't solely responsible, but he fully intended to hold his brother accountable for the rest of their very long lives. After all, their father wasn't alive anymore. Also his brother's doing.
