WHO: Katherine & Elena (lookslikeher} WHAT: Talking over a few things. WHERE: Katherine's room. WHEN: The night of the 22nd RATING: high! STATUS: in progress.
This was one of those odd, defining moments for Katherine, this place where she was stuck between worry, anger and something very closely resembling love for her Elena. She wanted to keep her safe and out of harm's way, which meant away from Klaus. That would be a little difficult considering they were stuck on a tiny block of land in the middle of nowhere, but she couldn't help but hope that the man would be more occupied with other sets of doppelgangers. But if he knew how she felt for Elena... That could cause some trouble. At the same time, she was tired of hiding this here when everyone else seemed to be so open about things. That was a weird emotion. Almost like jealousy. A part of her was sick of all the fake fighting that her and Elena had to keep up, and that was a subject she wasn't really sure how to come to speak about. But if she talked about the last item on her mind, then they would have to come out.
Vampirism.
Katherine was curious if Elena would ever want to turn. She didn't seem to ready to pursue a so-called normal life, not with how she seemed to fall in love with vampire after vampire. And the woman figured that if her little doppelganger did ever decide to give up this exciting lifestyle of having a vampire for a lover, then she would just end up severely disappointed when she was left with an average human. Would there be any passion? Would Elena really be able to stay and suffer that or would she ever look out for Katherine or the Salvatore brothers again? Katherine shook her head and parted her lips with a sigh, pulling a silk robe over her black, lace slip and getting onto the bed, resting back against the headboard as she waited for her young lover. This was certainly going to be an interesting conversation for them, more serious than anything they had had previously. She quelled a burst of nervousness and ran her fingers through her curls, brown eyes unable to turn away from the door.
