Draco was glad she accepted his almost-apology and did not seem to think it was too random. He felt much better, getting that off his chest. Now maybe he could feel peaceful for a while. He wondered if she would go back and tell Harry that they had talked. Harry would probably be less forgiving, especially since he was from years before the war ended. It didn't really matter, then. Why should he care what Potter thought anyway?
He slowly nodded. "Yeah, you can ask me, or I'll talk to you, if anything else comes up. Although," he said, "I may not know everything. But I'll tell you what I do know." Draco knew it was important to her, and it felt good actually being helpful for once. It felt surprisingly good.
