She flashed a quick smile, "It is nice," she agreed with him. Of course, she had Harry here but... he was a different Harry who was younger and who had another Hermione who was his own age and they knew the same things. It was different. Draco at least came from a similar time period, maybe not even a year ahead of her. He knew about the war... the other Harry hadn't even known Sirius or Dumbledore had died.
"Good," she was glad to know they hadn't hurt Draco. As terrible as he could be, she was beginning to see that he hadn't wanted to be as involved as he had been with the war and harming him when he was already in a harmful position would have been awful. She didn't know if Harry or Ron would have agreed, but she prided herself on being a voice of reason, so she could do her best to understand Draco better. She offered another smile, a smaller one this time, when he told her he hadn't wanted to identify them. "You did what you had to do," Hermione said. It was almost an apology from him and that was impressive. "At least no one was hurt, right? We mustn't have been there long. Between Bellatrix and the Snatchers and-," she was going to list his father, but stopped short, "whoever else may have been there," she recovered instead.
