"Yes," she replied emphatically. Even if she and Harry had tried for ages to destroy the locket to no avail, they had eventually figured it out. "After all," she pointed out, "the war couldn't have ended if Voldemort hadn't been killed once and for all. You said Harry defeated him, we must have found and destroyed the rest." That was something she had to be sure of. There was no way around it. She couldn't doubt herself, Harry, or Dumbledore now. Not when she knew the outcome. "Finding them and then getting the means to destroy them has been tricky, but we know we can."
Draco sighed and Hermione lifted an eyebrow. He did know more! When he mentioned Luna, her heart sank a little. What if Luna had died? She stiffened when he mentioned that they also caught Harry, Ron, and herself. "What?!" she demanded, shocked by the news. "How did that happen? Ron wasn't even-," she stopped and furrowed her brow. "You identified us?" Of course he would. He was a Malfoy, after all. And a Death Eater. She narrowed her eyes and sat up a little straighter, the somewhat relaxed posture she had vanishing.
"If Bellatrix was there, where was Voldemort? And if they caught us and you identified us," she emphasized his role bitterly, "then how did we escape?"
