Draco got up from his spot on the couch, leaving the television on for background noise, and pulled the door open. His cold gray eyes flickered over her face before he tilted his head to the side, indicating she should come in. "Hello, Granger," he said her last name a little more gently than usual. He was a little taken aback at his own civility. Part of him was strangely glad that she was here. He thought it was just the comfort of having a familiar face around, even if it was one he had never truly been friends with. It was a nice change from seeing the Muggles. And the vampires. Now those creeped him out.
He shut the door behind her, wondering what he should do. Offer a bottled water or something? She would probably think he had poisoned it. "Sit down, if you'd like," he suggested, pointing to the sofa. That would have to do for now. Perhaps he could manage more courtesy later.
