She could still remember the first day they met. It had been a bloody fluke, that she'd even gone to the damn thing. Her family had insisted it was the proper thing of a lady to do, meet such men. Lord Elijah and Klaus were, after all, the best company it was said. What fools everyone had been. What a fool she had been. That was in the past now and Katherine was a lot smarter now. She knew better, even if her feelings got in the way sometimes.
"How can you be so sure?" Her eyes studied him closely. She wasn't about to leave, no she wasn't that stupid. "Last time I saw you and him, you were awfully fond of having him beside you. " Katherine snarled a little at the thought. "Why don't you buy him a collar, maybe a leash? Keep him in line a little." She was mocking him now and she probably shouldn't have but she didn't really care. It pissed her off how much attention he paid to Stefan, how devoted to creating such a monster Klaus was.
She flinched as he moved to took a strand behind her ear. Her feelings towards him didn't stop her fear of him, her fear would always overpower her feelings for him. It was stronger then what she felt towards the man. "Why is that?" She resisted the urge to tear her eyes from his. She knew all the games he played, all the little tricks he'd tried over the years. But she also knew not to piss him off, she knew exactly what kind of lengths he'd go to.
"Have you?" That shocked her. Klaus wasn't a man of emotions, never had been. She'd never heard him utter anything he'd meant. At least not that she'd been aware of. Everything was always ether a riddle or a lie with him. "I..should say the same." She left it at that.
