Stefan laughed, giving her hand a soft squeeze. "It's impossible not to like you, Elena," he told her, the laugh still evident in his voice although his words were completely serious. He honestly didn't know anyone who didn't like Elena, even if it was only a little. Except perhaps Katherine, but she didn't really count because she only cared about herself.
Stefan sighed happily when Elena slipped onto his lap, wrapping her arms around her as though it was the most natural thing in the world for him to do, which, in fact, it was. He smiled as she kissed him before nuzzling his nose against her cheek, his chin resting on her shoulder. "She hasn't seen me since I was a child. I hadn't cooked a thing then and wouldn't have known how to. I've learned a lot over the years." He lifted his head to look up into her deep, brown eyes. "But I think you're the one that wowed her."
