WHO: Elena Gilbert & Stefan Salvatore huntpreykill WHERE: The City of Atlantis WHEN: Friday Morning WHAT: Stefan does the one thing Elena fears most RATING: TBD STATUS: In progress
Elena loved the freedom of being able to go out and do whatever she wanted. She loved that Stefan trusted her enough to go out on her own and have fun. Fun, she had seriously been lacking that since her parent’s car crash, since being held captive by the Stefan from her world.
When she had been brought here, she had finally thought she was free of him. But then he had shown up and had made her life miserable for days, even sharing her with his brother before finally letting her go. Releasing her into the care of two other Stefan’s who seemed to be genuinely nice, and genuinely cared about her wellbeing. She was dating one of those Stefan’s now. It was…so easy to love him. She could see how (most of) the other Elena’s loved him. She could also see the appeal in the Damon’s as well.
Yesterday, before going out shopping with Katherine (which had been an experience in itself) Stefan had told Elena he loved her. She knew he was still struggling over the loss of his Elena, and she knew it was somewhat awkward to already love this man so hard and fast considering what she had experienced by the other Stefan’s hands, but she did love him. He took care of her, he didn’t get annoyed that right now she was a basket case considering the mirror showed her her future back home.
He hadn’t let her go, or even killed her. No. Instead he and Damon (who had apparently made it to Mystic Falls) had turned her. They had turned her and were taking her on a killing spree across Europe. Stefan had been petting her hair and calling her his little ripper. What had disgusted her even more than that was the fact that she seemed to crave him back home now. She had seen the bloody kisses, the affectionate pets he would do through her hair. He couldn’t possibly love her back home. She couldn’t possibly love him. She had even seemed affectionate, even adoring towards Damon. It was clear to her now that she could never go home. Never.
She’d try not to focus on that. Instead, she was going to focus on going out and getting something nice for her boyfriend.
