Of course, he had seen Katherine's vampire face before, but somehow it looked different on Elena. Calmer and less wild. His green eyes moved over her as he stared in rapt fascination. "Looks like I taught you well," he said after a moment, raising his eyebrows, his arms crossed over his chest as he smiled in her direction.
