WHO: Stefan Salvatore (inyourgreeneyes) and Elena Gilbert (huntsbunnies) WHEN: After this, early Saturday morning WHERE: Starting at Apartment 110 then the surrounding area WHAT: Stefan takes Elena hunting RATING: High - Bunnies will die. STATUS: In progress
Stefan was still finding it hard to get his head around this place. At every slight movement in the corner of his eye, he jumped, expecting to find himself there, waiting to attack. The other Stefan had an Elena and Stefan couldn't stand thinking about what he was doing to her. But there was nothing he could do at the moment. He was a lot weaker than his human-blood drinking counterpart and who knew how many allies the other Stefan had gained. After browsing the network, Stefan was pretty sure his double was somehow involved with Katherine, and she was a fearsome enemy. Still, he had more pressing issues on his mind. Like the fact that Elena - the Elena that was on her way over - was a vampire and needed his help.
He couldn't deny that he had thought and dreamed about Elena becoming a vampire. He wanted to spend eternity with her, but he had always respected her enough to leave the subject alone. He was furious at Damon for taking that choice away from her, but there was nothing to do about it now. He just had to do what he could to help her now it was done. Becoming a vampire was hard, but maintaining a steady balance was even harder. He was glad she seemed to want to embrace his lifestyle but he knew it would be hard for her. Most of all, he knew her emotions would be all over the place. He had to be strong for her now or she could fall apart. He felt desperately guilty for seeming to favour her over the other Elenas that were here, but she needed him more right now. His first priority was finding her a decent meal and making sure her cravings were under control. Then he could concentrate on working out a plan to help save the other Elena. He loved Elena; all of them. He didn't know how or if he was supposed to divide that love up between them, but he had to do his best for all of them.
Sighing, Stefan took a long sip from the coffee mug he was holding in his hand. He wasn't thirsty. He had only made it to give his hands something to do while he waited. The Elena that was coming over had been... all he knew. She was from a later time than him but he has seen that wonderful flirty spark he loved so much. He didn't know if he should be flirting with her, but it was so hard not to when Elena - his Elena - was being so adorable. She was the same person that he loved, even though she had changed. Even so, he was going to do his best to be a good hunting companion and a fair and good friend to her while he figured out what the hell was going on here.
