Caroline walked alongside him, licking from her ice cream as they moved. Hearing his apology, she merely shrugged in response. She couldn't honestly tell him it was okay, but there was also no point in yelling at him about it now. "Just next time I ask you for time, please give it to me." There was nothing that could be done about it now.
She honestly still wasn't sure what to think of this place. The Bonnie from her world was switching from hot to cold quicker than Caroline could keep up with. That was Caroline's talent. She knew that Bonnie had had trouble with Caroline being a vampire for a while, but she'd honestly thought that Bonnie would have gotten over it. But then when she asked advice about Damon and Matt, Bonnie had been supportive. She was having trouble keeping up.
"I'm doing okay, I guess," she answered before taking another lick of ice cream. "It definitely has me a little weirded out, but I guess it's no worse than home."
