Bella was sated from the hunt, and now her mind returned to Edward. Her beloved husband. She was so grateful that he was here. That he was pulled from a time that he knew who she was, that he loved her. She was even more grateful for the fact that he remembered their daughter. If Nessie did show up here, it would be hard enough for her to have her Aunts and Uncles not know who she was, but her father? No. She was glad that Edward knew exactly who she was and that he loved her.
She smiled and nodded hello to her roommates before walking into the bedroom. The Mothers Day gift had warmed her heart. While it would have been nice to have Nessie here, the fact that Edward had thought about her had done her a world of good. In fact, she wanted to show him just how much it meant to her. In more ways than one he wanted to show him.
With her new vision, it wasn't hard to find him in the chair in the shadowed corner, but her eyes were drawn to how he'd set up the room for her. If she still had the ability to cry, she'd be weeping like a sap.
