Shane laid on his bed, starring at the ceiling. This was his last year at Hogwarts and surely he would end with more questions than he started. He let out a long sigh. He had been released from the hospital wing just that afternoon and it felt good to be out. His ankle was still bandaged up, he had to walk on crutches and his ribs were still incredibly sore. The cuts had cleared up, somewhat but he was still black and blue. But his pain was not the worst of his problems. He closed his eyes and thought of Rosie. Just as he was half dozed off, the door opened throwing light into the room.

Tristan was walking down the corridors, pump in his step, he had kissed Mandy at the ball, he felt like he could fly. He saw a Gryffie first year, and he followed him slowly. Wearing jeans and a tee shirt, he followed the boy through the portrait hole, hoping he doesn't get noticed.

Tristan casually walked up the boys dorm side of the Gryffindor common room, and found Shane there, sitting on his bed. He didn't know why Shane was so....urgent I guess you could say. But he sat down shaking him slightly. "Hey Man, What's up?"

Shane was not startled at all. He opened his blue eyes to see Tristan. A small smile curved the edges of his mouth. At dinner that evening he walked over to Tristan's table and asked him to meet him in his dorm. He had so much to tell him. Sitting up, slowly, he tried not to wince...but ended up doing it anyway. "Man, do I have loads to tell you," he stated, rubbing his sore ribs.
