Athena was sitting in the Slytherin Common room not doing her homework. Her work was currently with some Ravenclaw student being done without her. It wasn't that she wasn't smart enough to do it herself, but she liked having the power to make someone else do it. She was currently sitting on a couch her legs curled around her, painting her toenails. She was humming quietly to herself, feeling pretty content for once.

	Tanner wished she'd let him do the work for her--at least she'd know it was being done the right way. Then again, that's probably because he was slightly protective. With a supressed grin, he took his place next to her on the couch, careful to mind her toes. "Hey," he offered, reaching over to peck her cheek with a kiss. "What're you up to?" 	"Painting my toes." She said not looking up at him, but grinning as he kissed her. Who would have thought that 'spawn of Satan' Athena Malfoy could have a soft spot? It was very small and Tanner filled most of it. She finished her toe and tapped them with her wand to dry them. She threw her legs out so the were over his and grinned. "What are you doing?" "Trying to hex my newest book," he replied with a sigh, lifting it from his satchel to open it on his lap. The book started to squeal and then exploded a source of 'blood' into his face. What should have been acid, was actually red paint. Tanner wasn't that crazy. "It's supposed to scream longer." Putting the book away, he smiled down at her feet. "Besides painting your toes. I've got a penny for your thoughts."

	"It would still scare the hell out of some person." It was always the quiet one you had to look out for. Athena thought it was hilarious that Tanner hexed things, and a hexed book would never go to her so she could laugh at the people that got them all she wanted. "I only get a penny? Tanner nodded in agreement, still concerned however, that his spell wasn't complete. The book hexing was important to him and it was also something he had a feeling he'd be involved with for a long time to come. He ran a hand along her legs, before looking up at her face, a smile creasing his lips. "Alright, a pocket full of galleons for your thoughts." It wasn't like he couldn't afford it.
