Avalon silently damned him as he spoke again, brushing a lock of her off her face. She couldn't focus on staying mad at him when he did things like that, or smiled at her the way he was doing before. he had an effect on her that surely no other boy had. "Thank you," She said softly. "Me too." She tried to be a little distant to show him she was still angry, even if she was sure he knew she couldn't stay mad at him for too long (one just needed to remember what happened with the half naked blonde that was kissing him and how Avalon ended up kissing him instead of slapping him).
"Why did you want to meet?" The sooner she knew what she was doing there, the better.
