WHO: Chase and Zoe
WHAT: Being the most adorable couple in the history of the world!
WHERE: Hufflepuff 5th year girls' dorm
WHEN: After classes
RATING: TBD. Not very high, I'd think.
STATUS: Closed and in progress

Chase was bouncing around even more than usual for some strange reason. Apparently he was hyper all of the time (even when he was asleep), according to his brothers, but now that seemed far more evident than ever. He wasn't quite sure why, but that didn't really matter. That energy was going to be put to good use some way or another. And no, that didn't mean doing homework. When did he ever do his homework on time? No, that energy would be put towards going to see his very pretty, very perfect and very amazing girlfriend Zoe.

She was a much better way for him to get rid of all that extra energy, considering that she put up with it so much more easily than others did. She didn't mind the fact that he bounced around like a jumping bean all the time or that he rambled about the most random things at times. And of course he had her kisses to shut him up when he really was talking too much. In essence, Zoe was one of the best things that had ever happened to him. And Chase thought he was more than lucky to have her. That was exactly why he still liked to get her things. Presents.

He had the most amazing girlfriend ever! Why shouldn't he spoil her?

So, with his presents for her safely in hand, he made his way up to the Hufflepuff 5th year girls' dorm. He knocked on the door even though she'd said that there wasn't anyone else in the room and then went in, grinning when he saw her. "Hi Zo," Chase said, holding his gifts for her behind his back. No need to ruin the surprise!

Despite the fact that it might have bothered some people, Chase's hyperactiveness was just something about him that Zoe loved. She didn't think he would be...well, him without it. She was used to the guy that got excited about all sorts of little things. He always had so much energy, and he lit up her life. To see him sitting still actually concerned her a bit. She didn't want to see him worried or unhappy.

She thought that he got her entirely too much. It seemed as though she was getting more presents than she should. He was going to spoil her rotten, ruin her. Of course, she didn't ever really plan to be with anyone else though. She cared to deeply for him...loved him too much. She knew it was a bit risky to say that she was in love at barely sixteen, but she couldn't help it...she really felt as though she was. She wore the reminders that she was Chase's every day. The necklace and bracelet she'd recieved for her birthday and Valentine's Day had found a permanent home on her person.

She heard the knock, but it didn't startle her. She was expecting him, sitting on her bed. The girls dorm was fairly clean, Zoe's area almost impeccably so. As a child, her mother had always made sure Zoe kept her room in top shape. She grinned widely when she saw him, "Hey, Chase," she greeted, motioning for him to come on over. She could tell he had something hidden behind his back, but she merely gave him a curious look.

Chase wouldn't be Chase without that bit of hyperactivity. It was what made him who he was! And it had to be at least a little bit entertaining. He got excited about the little things and managed to see something about every detail in his whirlwind of energy. It was what made him interesting and he was glad that Zoe accepted him for who he was. At least she understood that seeing him sit still wasn't a good thing. To anyone else it would be a relief from the onslaught of too much energy.

He couldn't help but get her presents, though! She deserved the absolute best and he wanted to let her know that each and every day. Whether it was with the way he treated her or his kisses or the gifts he gave her. Chase Creevey was a boy very much in love. Not something that was always a good thing at sixteen, but he thought that he and Zoe were an exception. He was hers just as much as she was his. To see her wearing the jewelry that he'd gotten her for her birthday (and Valentine's Day) made him smile. His girlfriend. His Zoe. It had a wonderful ring to it.

He went over to her, smiling the entire time and trying to keep the gifts situated behind his back. Not able to resist after sitting down next to her, he pressed his lips to hers in a kiss that was somewhere between innocent and not-so-innocent. He was weak, what could he say? "Yep. Every time I do that it only gets better," he said, pulling back with a smile.

"And I have your surprises, as promised." Hopefully she would like them.

They had been friends for a long time, and never once had Zoe wanted Chase to be anything other than himself. She knew that wishing someone was different just led to heartbreak and bad mistakes. Besides, she was the type of girl to readily accept someone for who they were, no matter what they were like. If she didn't like them, nothing was forcing her to be friends with them, and vice versa. But she would never want Chase to just sit still because his family or anyone else thought he should. She preferred that he was hyper and bouncing off the walls.

Chase really made sure that Zoe knew how much he cared for her, and she tried to do the same. She couldn't get enough of his affection, and she always tried to remind him that she felt the same way about him. Zoe had been in love with him before he even kissed her, and she didn't expect that to change any time in the next...oh, billion years. She knew that Chase liked seeing her wear the jewelry he gave her. That was one of the reasons she wore them all the time, but also because they just meant so much to her. She knew in time she might not wear them as often, perhaps if he'd gotten her something else. But she'd always have those reminders, and they would always mean the world to her. She was very much his.

She wasn't surprised when he kissed her after sitting down. In fact, she had half a mind to just grab him and snog him senseless, because in all honesty she truly wanted to, but that thought made her blush. She didn't mind that it was a little past innocent though. Her mind was going to the gutter, "I have to agree with you," she breathed with a grin after he'd pulled away.

With a smile she gave a soft sigh, "You're the only thing I'll ever really need, but I appreciate it nonetheless and I'm sure I'll love whatever it is," she told him. She had to force herself not to kiss him again. She was sure there would be plenty of time for that after he gave her the surprises.

Chase never wanted her to feel like he didn't care for her. Every day he did a little something to make her feel special. Treating her like a princess was easy for him because that's exactly what she deserved. His affection was limitless for her because, plain and simple, he was in love with her. It wasn't going to change. Not now, not ever. Seeing her wear the trinkets he'd given her only made him thinking about how she was his. It really did mean a lot to him. And honestly, if she eventually started wearing them less it wouldn't be bad. Chase still knew that Zoe was his girlfriend. And hopefully she would be for a very, very, very long time.

See, now if she had just grabbed him and snogged him senseless, he honestly wouldn't have minded that at all. What boy wouldn't want to be snogged that way by his girlfriend? But for now the one kiss would have to do. Still, that didn't mean that his mind wasn't wandering to the same places hers was...

"And you know that you're all I'll ever need too. But I can't help but get you presents and treat you like a Princess. Since, well, you are my princess." Again, corny, but it was cute coming from him. He really wanted to kiss her again...and again and again. But surprises came first! Then the snogging which hopefully would be uninterrupted. "Here," he said, holding out a teddy bear to her first. And then in his other hand was an open ring box with a silver ring in it. "I hope you like them."

He was doing a pretty good job of making sure that Zoe always knew that he cared for her just as much as she cared for him. He made every single day something different, something to look forward to. She never doubted that Chase would treat her nicely. He wouldn’t ever do anything to hurt her, she was sure. She suspected that some day, they’d get married. She honestly couldn’t see herself without him, and there was no way that their relationship would end on her say so. At the rate that he was giving her gifts, if she wore all of them all the time, she was going to start looking cluttered, but she was fairly certain that she’d always be wearing something that he’d given her, no matter what that happened to be.

She was having trouble keeping her hands to herself after he sat back. She was being greedy, wanting more kisses, but she didn’t care. She couldn’t get enough. Her brother would have been shocked to hear of such a thing, but she didn’t really care because he wasn’t there to stop her.

She blushed deeply when he called her his princess, biting her lower lip slightly as she smiled, “You certainly do a good job of making me feel like one,” she told him, still grinning. How could she not want to kiss him when he said things like that?! When he presented the teddy bear, her grin broadened. The big “I love you” pillow it was holding kind of made her heart stutter, but then she saw what was in his other hand and it really took her breath away, “Chase,” she breathed in awe, “How could I not love this? It’s sweet and gorgeous. Thank you.” She really didn’t know what else she could say, but she knew she was having to hold herself back from throwing herself at him in a hug. She gently took the bear first, smiling fondly at it, brushing her hand across the words on the pillow before setting it back against her pillows, it’s new home. It looked right there. Next, she turned back and took the ring with just a bit of hesitation. He must have spent so much on it…but she put it on anyway, finding that it was a perfect fit on her hand, “You realise you’re the best boyfriend a girl could ever ask for, right? I’m so lucky to have you,” she whispered the last sentence, reaching out her hands for his.

He tried his best to make each day different. To tweak things just a little bit and still let her know that he loved her. Whether it was a paper crane note levitated to her in class or little surprise gifts left on her pillow during the day. Chase only wanted to best for her. He would never hurt her because just the thought of doing so upset him. It would have been amazing if someday they got married. Heck, he would marry her now if it wasn't so impractical. But maybe right after graduation? He couldn't see himself without her an just the thought of not having her pained him. No, Zoe was stuck with him for a very long time.

Keeping his hands to himself with her was a problem he had all of the time. She was so tempting and just being close to her made him want to wrap his arms around her waist and pull her close to him. He never stopped wanting her kisses or her touch just like he never stopped wanting to kiss her or feel the way her body felt pressed against his. There was no getting enough. It was a wonder that he hadn't rushed things unintentionally because of his urges. He was just a boy after all!

Seeing that blush brought a smile to his lips. "Thanks. I like knowing that I make you feel good." She really was his princess and he would try his absolute best to be her Prince Charming. The urge to kiss her was near to overwhelming and it took a large amount of self control to just hold back and watch her while she looked at the gifts. Her reaction to the ring made his smile widen. "You're welcome. Only the best for my Zoe." He watched her set the bear back behind her with her pillows and as she took the ring. It had cost a bit more than the other gifts that he'd given her, but it wasn't like his savings was empty. The money was just sitting there so there wasn't any harm in just taking a little off the top to pay for a gift for his amazing girlfriend. It looked so nice on her. A perfect fit. "I'm lucky to have you," he replied, his voice just as soft. "There isn't a more wonderful girl in the entire world." He took her hands in his, bringing the one on which she wore the ring up to his lips to press a kiss to her knuckles.

"I love you," he said, meaning every word. "I really, really do."

Zoe was always finding little presents or getting little notes that made her smile or blush (most of the time both.) She knew she had to be one of the most spoiled girls on the face of the planet with all the things he got for her. He’d thoroughly ruined her to the point where if she were ever to be with someone else, she’d constantly think about Chase. Although, she never planned to be with anyone else, so that wouldn’t be a problem. It made her upset to think that she would ever be without him. If he were to propose, she had no doubt in her mind that she would say yes, but they were just so young. She could wait a few years, as long as she could be with him while she waited. Zoe didn’t mind being ‘stuck’ with him, because he was the only person she wanted.

Really, she didn’t want him to keep his hands to himself. Yes, there were times when being overly affectionate wasn’t appropriate, but she always wanted to hold his hand or just be close by his side. She didn’t mind whenever he pulled her closer, because she really always wanted him to. There was nothing quite like being close to him, sharing a private moment that no one else got to experience. He often took her breath away, and it was always a good thing. Not rushing into things had been hard, because she was a hormonally driven teenager just like any other, but they’d managed to take their time.

She grinned with a small hum of agreement, “You’re my knight in shining armor, my Prince, and that’s never going to change,” she promised. He was addicting to her, and she couldn’t quit him if she tried. Quite honestly, she didn’t want to. She almost wanted to tell him that it was too much, that it was too expensive and that she didn’t deserve a gift like that. She was worried about him spending too much money on her, but she also didn’t want to reject his gifts, because she truly did love them. She just had to put the price aside. She was sure that he wouldn’t have gotten it for her if he couldn’t afford to spoil her like that. She blushed pleasantly at his compliments and the kiss on her knuckles. He certainly knew how to make her heart flutter and her stomach flip.

“I love you too, and I always will,” she promised, the sincerity in her tone was undeniable. She couldn’t stand it any longer. She leaned in closer and kissed him again. Could things get much more perfect?

He loved making her smile or blush just by doing the little things he did for her during a day. Little presents or notes or a stolen kiss here or there. Sure, it might have been spoiling her a little bit, but he thought she deserved all of it and even more still. He wasn't going to stop treating her the way he did anytime soon, whether or not it ruined her. Chase didn't want to be with anyone else. Being without her would have been depressing. If he could have proposed, he would have. But it was highly impractical...not to mention it might have been illegal? So, he would resign himself to waiting a few more years. The waiting was alright as long as she was with him during that time.

Chase didn't want to keep his hands to himself either! But he forced himself to for the sake of not pushing her. He would hold her hand or just hold her close to him because there wasn't a moment when he didn't want to do that. She took his breath away too, just by being the fantastically perfect girl she was. It was difficult not to rush considering that he was a teenage boy driven by hormones. But it was for the best that they took their time. He didn't want her to regret anything that she did with him, not matter what it was.

"I'm glad." He never wanted to lose her, most especially to some other bloke. It was impossible for him to ever leave her. He wouldn't have been able to even if he wanted to. Chase really hoped that she would accept the ring. She deserved it and the money wasn't that big of an issue. He wouldn't have been getting her the gifts if he couldn't afford it, right? He might have been scatter-brained, but not that scatter-brained. Prices didn't matter when it came to love. Seeing her blush automatically made him smile. After he kissed her hand, his thumb brushed over her skin ever so gently.

"You have no idea how happy I am to hear that." Just hearing her say it was enough to make him absolutely ecstatic. She had quite the effect. When she leaned in to kiss him, Chase kissed her back. Letting go of her hands, his arms encircled her waist to pull her the rest of the way to him. This was certainly perfection.

For anyone else, it was a little harder to elicit those specific reactions from Zoe, but it was so easy for Chase. It wasn’t all that hard to get her to smile, but blushing seemed to be something he was especially good at getting her to do. She knew that as she got older, she could only grow to love him more. She wanted to remember every moment that she spent with him, good or bad. Whether they were happy or arguing about something stupid as all couples were bound to do. She knew that they would make it through and be stronger in the end. But getting married at sixteen was very impractical, and she was fairly certain that her parents weren’t going to sign anything that would allow her, a minor, to get married. So, she’d wait however long it took. Really, it was wise to wait until they were out of school anyway, but that didn’t mean that she couldn’t be with him while they waited for time to pass. She was confident that they would last.

In ways, Zoe enjoyed the small things as much as the larger steps they took. She liked to just sit with him and lay her head on his shoulder, even while he talked a million miles a minute. She liked to just go on a walk with him with her hand entwined with his. Just because something was simple and innocent didn’t mean it wasn’t romantic or worth doing. She was content with that, but she had to admit that she loved sneaking off with him and snogging, whether they were just in some classroom or under the stars. She didn’t think she could regret anything she did with Chase, but there were things that she’d rather wait for, at least for a while. She didn’t want to grow up too fast.

She smile reassuringly. She wasn’t interested in any other bloke. She didn’t even really notice other guys. Yes, she talked to her friends that were blokes, but she never compared them to Chase or pictured herself with them, because she was exactly where she wanted to be already. She’d found her heaven on earth in Chase’s arms, and nothing else even appealed to her. She knew that Chase would make correct decisions when it came to pampering her, even though he did it more than was necessary. Still, she was always flattered. She gave a smile at the gentle caress of his thumb on her skin. His touch made her skin tingle.

Hearing him say that he loved her was the absolute best thing ever. Zoe honestly couldn’t get over it. She couldn’t hear it enough. When he let go of her hands, she wasn’t surprised that he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer. She loved being that close to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing herself closer to him as her hand gently threaded into his hair.

He liked being able to make her blush with little to no effort. She was really pretty when her cheeks turned that rosy pink. Crayola should have been jealous not to possess such a lovely shade. They were young now, yes, but there was no doubt in Chase's mind that he would only love her more and more as time went on. With all of the good things and the less than good. Sure, they were bound to get into stupid arguments sometime, but it wasn't enough to break them. Getting married at sixteen was about as impractical as it could get, but it was the way that he felt about her that was the most important. He could wait, just as long as he knew she was his.

The little things as well as the leaps and bounds was enjoyable to him. Simply holding her hand or having her rest her head on his shoulder (as he talked and talked...and talked) was nice and very much worth doing. But he couldn't deny liking the times when they snuck off together to snog in an empty classroom or out under the starts by the lake or at the landing. Some things could wait, that was certain. But what they had now was romantic and special. No need to grow up too fast.

Just like she wasn't interested in any other bloke, he didn't care about any other girl in the way he cared for her. Zoe had his full and undivided attention. She was the angel that made things perfect whenever he was in her company. No other girl had ever made him feel that way. Her skin was so soft and he made sure to be gentle in his caresses. He wanted her to feel that tingling in her skin.

As many times as she wanted to hear it, Chase would say it. He loved her with all his heart and that wasn't going to change. Feeling her respond to his kiss the way that she did, pressing closer to him and threading her fingers through his hair, was already driving him crazy. Not that it was difficult for her to do that anyway. He smiled a little bit against her lips, still kissing her though just a bit more deeply. Could you really blame him?

She was sure that her blush wasn’t so cute to everyone, but since Chase liked it, she didn’t mind so much. She had to admit that it was a shade of her own, nothing anyone could reproduce. But she was also glad that it was mostly just for him. It wasn’t because she was embarrassed or because he made her nervous. She tended to blush when someone gave her that much undivided attention, or when someone complimented her. The fact that he loved her blush made her believe that he loved every little thing about her. That was all that she needed to stay right there with him.

There were things that Zoe just felt she wasn’t ready for. With time, yes, she would be. But she knew that Chase wasn’t going to push her toward that time before she wanted to. He could be patient when he wanted to. Besides, it wasn’t as if they weren’t enjoying themselves sharing the intimacy that they did. There were some risks she just wasn’t going to take until she was a bit older.

There never really had been another bloke before Chase. She’d had a crush on him for longer than she’d been dating him but she’d always just been too nervous to say anything despite the fact that Bryn encouraged her to just go for it. She hadn’t trusted her heart, she didn’t know that it wouldn’t get hurt, so she’d refrained, but Chase had made sure she would never make that mistake again. She was learning to trust her heart. She smiled a little at the soft touch. It was a slow, measured movement

It was good to know that he would say it over and over if she wanted. Sometimes he might have to, because she felt like it was all too surreal. She could feel the slow turn of his lips into the small smile, even as he kissed her more deeply. It made it hard for her to remember how to breathe. Gently, she leaned back, bringing him with her, not daring to break the kiss, until she was laying back on her bed with him hovering over. Merlin, he made her dizzy.

It wasn't something to mind, in his opinion. Her blush only made her prettier in his eyes. Something completely her own to enhance the natural beauty that she possessed. Knowing that that blush was mostly just for him was pleasing, to say the least. And he didn't mind keeping on with that undivided attention and those compliments. Chase really did love everything about her, right down to the really little things. And knowing that it was the factor that kept her there with him only made him strive to keep the most precious thing he'd ever had. His Zoe. His beautiful, intelligent and amazing girlfriend, Zoe.

Sure, he'd looked at other girls before Zoe. He was only a teenage boy! But she was the first one that he'd ever really cared about in this way. And the only girl. He wanted her to trust her heart. And that was what kept her with him. That first mistake wouldn't be repeated as long as he had anything to do with it.

Chase would say nothing but 'I love you' if that was what she wanted. And to hear her say it back...well it did kind of feel surreal sometimes. But it was real. The reality that they'd come to live in. His lips were eager against hers as he kissed her deeply and he was finding it difficult to remember to breathe. He didn't want to pass out in the middle of some amazing snogging. As she leaned back, taking him with her, Chase continued to kiss her, lingering over her as she laid back on the bed. His kiss deepened yet again and soon her lips began to deviate from hers and down her neck. Her skin was so smooth and soft...way too tempting.

Zoe had little things like her blush that she enjoyed about Chase too. His smile, making him blush, his little hair flip, that uncontainable excitement that he possessed almost all the time. Sometimes he could stand nearly still, which sort of amused her. If Chase was around, she most definitely wasn’t going to ignore him to focus on someone else. It killed her to be caught up in a conversation and then have him walk in, because she couldn’t quite focus anymore, her eyes always glanced over to him and she couldn’t stop grinning. Most people just rolled their eyes and told her to go on as soon as Chase walked into the room anymore, that they would talk about it later. She hardly thought of herself as being as amazing and wonderful as Chase seemed to think she was but it was nice to be adored like that. She supposed it was a bit like how she thought Chase was perfect.

Zoe wasn’t going to get jealous over anyone that Chase had looked at before her. She didn’t blame him, because in all honesty there were a lot of pretty girls at Hogwarts, but she also knew that she wasn’t going to lose him, and none of the others had come to be that close to him. As long as he stayed with her, Zoe didn’t believe she’d have another reason to distrust her heart ever again.

If that was the only statement that Chase could say for the rest of forever, she still thought she’d believe him every single time, but of course, she’d miss other kinds of conversations. Not that hearing it wasn’t nice. It gave her that tingling feeling all over and it made her heart feel like it might just burst right out of her chest…kind of the same effect as his kisses. Passing out was the last thing she wanted, but breathing was the last thing on her mind. She was enjoying the intenseness of the kiss. It was the kind that made her forget absolutely everything and just made her feel. But then his lips were moving away, crossing down her neck. She pulled her lower lip between her teeth from sheer habit, losing herself in the rapid beating of her heart and the feeling of his lips on her skin, tilting her head slightly to expose her neck more.

Zoe really was one of a kind and there was nothing about her that Chase didn't like. And it was wonderful that she accepted him for him. Little quirks and all. She was the only person that he could even get close to sitting still for. Even if he was rather "ADD", there was no doubting that as soon as she came around, all of his focus and attention was on her. The people that he talked too already were used to him sometimes not keeping eye contact or bouncing around. But if Zoe was in the room, it got even worse. People were more than happy to say that they would talk later since they were able to put two and two together. After all, Chase did have the most amazing girlfriend in the history of the world. He adored her and thought she was perfect. He couldn't help it!

Any of those other girls that he might have looked at before didn't matter now. She was the only one he cared about now. She was never going to lose him. Not in a million years. No other girl was that special to him.

Yes, saying only 'I love you' for the rest of forever probably wouldn't make for very in depth conversation. Still, he didn't mind saying it, especially because it made her feel the way that she did. It made him happy to make her feel like that with not only his words, but with his kisses too. Breathing was most definitely not on his mind right then. Kissing Zoe was his first priority. But her skin was just so soft and way too tempting that he couldn't help but kiss down her neck. The action was slow and sensual as his lips worked against her skin and she tilted her head. Had he mentioned how crazy she drove him sometimes?

He continued to kiss her neck for about another minute before his lips made their way back up to hers. Chase kissed her just as deeply as before, if not deeper. What could he say? He was weak.

It wasn’t usually all that hard for Zoe to focus on something. She could just sit around with a book or something, but it wasn’t nearly as entertaining or exciting as doing things with Chase. He always seemed to be coming up with something new, something fun. She enjoyed every minute she got to spend with him, whether he was being hyperactive as usual or a little more down to earth and calm. Honestly, the only time she ever cringed while watching Chase do something seemed to be during Quidditch matches. She liked watching them, but she was always afraid that he was going to get hurt. She wasn’t particularly fond of the hospital wing, though she’d go there for him, to stay with him, but she really hoped it didn’t come to that. Otherwise, she was perfectly happy going about her business with Chase by her side.

As far as Zoe was concerned, the moment he kissed her he started off with a clean slate. His past and hers didn’t really matter. The only thing that would matter was if one of them messed up. But she couldn’t see that happening.

There was something about the sincerity of those words that made them special. She knew that millions of people said it every day and that half of the time, people said it even when they didn’t actually love someone, but just to say it because it felt nice to say those words…but Zoe and Chase weren’t misusing them. Those three little words strung together meant everything to her. She was glad that he was there with her, making her forget her senses. Her mind was all confused and hazy as his lips teased her neck. It was muddling with her mind, jumbling her thoughts, turning her brain into a sluggish mess. Of course, she didn’t really plan on thinking about anything at that moment anyway, not that she could have if she tried.

Zoe didn’t mind as his lips lingered at her neck, it was a tantalizingly sensual thing, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with that. When he kissed her again the fact that she’d momentarily remembered how to breathe despite her brain being jumbled didn’t seem to matter because she forgot again. She kissed him back eagerly, though she could still feel the kisses on her neck and it was driving her mad. He was driving her mad. Not that she cared.
