The elven prince wasn't aware that he was looking at her any differently, but certainly his attitude toward her had changed. From little more to an amusing diversion, fun to be around but not much else, she had gained something in his eyes. Respect seemed to be the easiest way to put it. To fight a dragon, of all things.
