Cathal was beyond annoyed. He was annoyed with is conflicting feelings, the audacity of not one, but two Kings thinking they had the right to do whatever they wished with him, and the fact that he was starving. He had a key and a book in his hands and he thought about refusing to do anything, but the thought vanished as quickly as it came. The thing to do would be to try getting out of this hellish place. No immediate answer to his problem came to him, so he had settled on figuring out where his room was and then finding something to satisfy his appetite.
But his features, normally expressionless, held a deep scowl that would set anyone on edge. His key read E 121, and while he didn't exactly have a map of the area or know where he was going, he was made for this, for finding his way and tracking things down. He was one of Johnny's men for pity's sake. He moved swiftly from one building to another until he found a larger set of buildings with letters clearly displayed on their outsides. Finding the E Dorm he skulked toward it and entered quietly.
He'd seen some interesting people, strange was probably more the word he would have used, but he hadn't taken the time to speak to any of the stranger looking ones. Even the girl he'd passed outside on his way in wore rabbits on her feet. He understood the idea of an animal pelt for use in keeping warm, but the entire head of said animal flopping around on one's foot seemed a little much. Standing just inside the door he allowed his eyes to adjust to the lighting inside and looked around.
