Once previously, the King of the Goblins had dispelled the Labyrinth and opened his castle to the inhabitants of his new Underground. It had been a highly amusing and successful occasion, and though he'd gotten bored of most of the people who had been there at that time, there where still a few that would remember. That was okay, though. It would put them off guard. They would assume they knew what was going to happen, but there was no way any of them could be prepared for what he had planned.

With satisfaction, the King looked around the room. It was done up to look like a haunted castle, with spider webs hanging everywhere, low, spooky, dim lighting, the whole nine yards. Several large black cats wandered around, ready to pounce playfully on the unwary passerby, and there were any number of nooks and crannies, dark and scary, with all sorts of places for things to be hiding. The atmosphere was very Halloween, in the way that only the King of Illusions could really pull off, or so he flattered himself.

Costumes, he figured, where all very well and good, but wouldn't it be so much more entertaining if they became the very thing they dressed as? He thought so. So, with everything in place, draped artisically over his stone throne, he waited for his 'guests' to arrive...
