Rudorufu ([info]rudorufu) wrote in [info]labyrinth_rpg,
Living jewels.... Looking back at the fish, Rudolf could see why the other young man would call them that. The colors were certainly as vibrant as some of the jewels his mother wore. She would probably delight in the fish as well. They were very independent-seeming fish, within their tanks.

Rudolf smiled as Armand introduced himself. Whoever he was, he was very well-mannered, which led Rudolf to wonder whether they were at all from the same era. There was something that seemed familiar about the young man. Rudolf couldn't quite put his finger on it, yet. "From where did you come, before you arrived here?" Rudolf asked, turning his attention fully away from the fish. "Your manners, they seem more...courtly...than those of some I've met. More like mine." He said the last softly. It wasn't that the more familiar forms of address were rude, not in the least, but they weren't what he was used to. This young man, with his bows and formal language, this was more comfortable.
