Who: Faith and River When: Day Fourteen, morning. What: Labyrinth time! Where: The Labyrinth Rating: R for Faith! Status: Incomplete
She'd planned to leave with River to do the Labyrinth the day before, but then there'd been laser tag, and that was just too awesome to pass up. She'd noticed, though, that the shifts seemed to be coming more frequently, and she wasn't sure how she felt about that. Still, she'd spent the day running around, getting pretty good scores with her laser gun. It had been a good time, way more fun than even the board games had been, and she'd had a blast doing that.
The next morning, though, she woke up to the familiar sights and sounds of the Ren Faire. That, as far as she was concerned, was her clue to get the hell out of here. It was just a little too fruity for her. So she'd quickly made arragements with River to meet up, dressed herself in black leather pants and a tiny reddish tank top, and filled a duffel bag with stakes, holy water, and other stuff. Strapping a sword onto her back, she was ready to go.
It was early for Faith to be up, but she knew that, the first time she'd done the Labyrinth, it had taken nearly a week. She doubted it would take that long this time, but getting an early start couldn't hurt. The sun was just rising as she stepped out of her suite of rooms at the castle in the center of the Labyrinth. Luckily, they were linked to her room in the Illusion City, so she was soon headed out across the grounds of the Ren Faire.
She was there first, which had to be a first. Leaning casually against the Labyrinth wall, waiting, she watched the antics of the little faeries by the entrance. They were very pretty, though she wasn't stupid enough to get close to them. Just because something looked pretty and harmless didn't mean it was.
