Day Twelve
Who: Armand and Marcus
When: Day Eleven/Day Twelve, around midnight
What: Armand is hungry!
Where: In front of Marcus' dorm
Rating: Pg 13? R? For hungry vampire
Status: Complete

The time had come to feed again. Oh, it wasn't that he had to, not yet. He was completely healed from his trip into daylight and near death, and he had fed recently enough of Schuldig. But he craved the pleasure of the hunt, even if he wasn't allowed to kill here. He wanted to feel someone struggle helplessly against him, and then make them like it. He was cruel, playful, and found that being brought here to the Underground gave him so many interesting new potential victims.

Although, it wasn't to a new victim that his mind turned, not this time. Instead, he focused on someone he had fed on before, someone who had enraged him beyond nearly anything else he'd felt. The Ranger, by his defiance, and by the prior knowledge he had of Armand that he shouldn't have, had made himself an ongoing target. Surely he'd recovered enough to withstand another visit from Armand. And, if not... well, too bad. He'd made his decision.

That damn resistance that Marcus had to his mental attacks, though. It took the vampire a couple of hours to pierce it, to find the Ranger. Well, that was one more thing Marcus would pay for, he decided. Finally, he'd tracked him down, and then it was so easy to send out the mental call that would bring the Ranger to him. He made it as strong as he could, knowing that there were very few people here, or on any world, who could resist the lure he had cast. It was projected in a tight beam into Marcus' sleeping mind.

Then, he waited. Surely, it wouldn't be long, and then Marcus would come to him. A cruel smile settled on his boyish, innocent-looking face as he stood, alone and apparently unarmed, in front of the door to Marcus' dorm building.
