Day 10
Who: Robin and Juniper
What: Meeting
When: Afternoon
Where: Walking Aimlessly?
Rating: TBA
Status: Incomplete

Robin was restless. He wasn't interested in the metal contraptions that ricocheted around the area on their precarious tracks. The food was strange and foreign. There was snow when there really oughtn't have been and he wasn't at home with Marian and his friends. He disliked this place immensely. Yes, the contest with Legolas had been entertaining, but that had been several days ago now and he was bored.

As always, he wore his bow on his shoulder and his quiver on his back. A sword was strapped to his hip and his cloak billowed behind him as he walked. He had no direction in mind. He was hoping something would catch his fancy, but nothing had thus far. He was contemplating one of the candied apples, but hadn't entirely made up his mind when he heard footsteps behind him. He had given up being on the alert several days ago and resisted the instinct to clutch at the bow as he turned to see who it was that walked behind him.

Juniper was just wandering around, trying to keep out of the snow as much as she could, but still get some air, as she could only stay in her room so much, after all, regardless of how tempting it was to just stay in Edward's arms for the rest of her life. She was in love, and she had that glow. Juniper hoped it would never go away.

Then she saw something that, momentarily, made her forget completely about Edward. There was a man walking along, that reminded her so much of one of her many past lives, that she actually felt a pang for it. She wasn't meaning to stalk him, not really, but the closer she got, the more details she was able to see, and there were a lot of them. His clothing and weapons practically screamed late 12th century, and given that Juniper was a medieval anything freak, she was drawn like a moth to a flame.

He turned, and she jumped back a pace, smiling in an embarrassed sort of way. "Sorry, I just...What year are you from?" Blunt much?

Robin was not entirely surprised to find a young girl following him. He had met fewer men than women here, but he had not yet met this one. He smiled quickly, worried that he had startled her enough for her to jump. "I'm sorry if I startled you." But she blurted out a question before he could complete his own sentence and he relaxed.

"Year?" He paused for a moment to think about it. He'd never really explained what year he came from before. "Well, the year 1191 I think is the last I can recall." He didn't really pay attention to it, and since his incarceration in the Jewish prisons, he'd lost track of it a bit. "I was in the King's Crusade." He wasn't sure why he'd said it, except he knew that the crusade he'd fought in marked a crucial period of his life.

"I'm Robin, by the way. What may I call you?" He took a step toward her, pushing his bow behind him before he held out a calloused hand.
