WHO: Delirium and Eragon
WHEN: Day 10, Morning
WHAT: Dragon Seeking!
WHERE: The Amusement Park to start
RATING: TBA
STATUS: Incomplete

Delirium had been settling in easily with the Realm that was like her Realm, but not. In fact, she felt at home here. People didn't seem to mind the changing, and therefore didn't mind that she wasn't exactly static herself. Static. That was a funny word. "Stat. Ic." Repeated outloud as boots crunched through the snow. "Tastes funny. Like mutable better, has more spiciness." She was talking to Barnabas, of course, who was just a little ahead of the woman. She paused, listening, and then laughed.

"And what of vases and containers?" This asked with a girlish giggle and shake of hair the colour of sunrises with pinks and oranges over mostly-reds. Digging in the pockets of her jacket, she pulled out a bottle container.

Inside was a bubble solution, which was what Del was playing with as she meandered along. Bubbles of all shapes and colours floated through the air, creating a trail of sorts that marked where she had been. One particular bubble was in the shape of an air creature, yellow and green and bright against the cloudy sky. Bubble-Dragon blew out a puff of 'smoke,' little bubbles bursting forth from its mouth, and then went to go seek out its own adventure.

Saphira was quite comfortable in the cold snow, and Eragon found that amusing. Snow had never been a favorite of his. Though Garrow had done his best by them, sharing a bed with Roran and his cold feet had never been the most comfortable way to spend a winter. No, Eragon definitely preferred the sunshine. Fortunately for him, he had a toasty warm dragon to curl up with.

He was shielded by her wing when he saw the girl practically dancing in front of them. At least, she seemed to be a girl. It was hard to guarantee anything in this strange world. Gently, he nudged Saphira's hide with his elbow and mentally pointed towards the girl with the multiple colors flowing through her hair. What is she? he asked. Not who. What. She didn't look like an elf, and she was certainly no dwarf. But was she human?

Saphira studied the girl with intent curiousity, her bright blue eyes narrowing a bit. Eragon knew from experience she was attempting to nudge at the newcomer's conscience. Hard to say, she muttered back, obviously intrigued now that she'd noticed. She's...new. Hasn't been here very long. I...don't know.

Getting to his feet, Eragon stretched, working a kink out of his back as he did so. Should I say hello, then, I wonder?

Hasn't hurt you greeting anyone so far, now has it?

Being chided by a dragon was never any fun. Eragon rolled his eyes and waved in the young woman's direction, seeing if she'd even take notice. Though he had to wonder how anyone could walk by something as beautiful as Saphira and not stop and stare, at least for a moment. Then again, he was also a bit biased.

She wasn't human, though she looked like one. And wasn't elf or dwarf or anything else. People had a hard time categorizing the Endless because they weren't human. But they weren't not-human either. Not technically. Either way, she was moving along without seeming to pay attention to much at all. That couldn't have been further from the truth.

The german shepherd with her had paused, watching the creature he had never seen before. Then looked to Delirium, who had paused as well but for different reasons. "Tickles," she said to her companion. Or maybe to Saphira. "Like carbonation noses and finger ribs." That was the little nudge she felt. The bubble dragon was still floating along, reaching the real dragon and its rider and puffing up like it wanted to be big too. Then it continued on, up, up, and away.

"Blues like cupcakes and musical notes!" A wave back to Eragon, then Saphira. "Didn't know you were there." That was probably why she went here first.

Eragon had no idea what cupcakes were, and he wasn't entirely sure what about music could be blue, but there was no mistaking someone who would compare the color of his dragon to such things.

For a brief moment, however, he watched as the bubble shape moved away. Impressive, Saphira thought, watching it.

What is? Eragon questioned. She seems a bit...well, off, doesn't she?

Saphira's laugh was low and rumbling and was audible to those around them even if it wasn't an actual spoken language. Eragon wondered what this girl would be able to make of the dragon at his side. Bella's mind couldn't be reached by Saphira and Juniper was a telepath herself. He'd met people who could talk to Saphira at will and those who she had to work her way to and those who she couldn't speak with at all. Would this mystical being be able to talk with his friend or would he, as he did with many, have to do the talking for her? Not that Eragon minded, but it could be frustrating for Saphira, especially when she finally made up her mind to share her thoughts with others.

"Hard not to know she's here, don't you think?" Eragon spoke out loud with a chuckle. "She's terribly large to miss."

"Laughter is like.." She paused, thinking about it. "Orange." Said with a firm nod. "Can smell it for miles and miles." Orange groves, which were fun to go run through.

"But didn't know she would be there, so if I wasn't looking for her which I try not to then I looked in the best place first." Wave given to Saphira, whom she hadn't been looking for but had hoped to see, and mismatched eyes moved to Eragon. "Always where you look last, so I look there first." It made sense to her, anyway!

She watched the bubbles as well and then looked to the other duo. "Shapes and colours come out differently. Pear-shaped? Oblong." She was trying to guess what shapes they'd create. The solution was offered out to Eragon first, Barnabas going over to Saphira to sniff at her. Del laughed. "Barnabas thinks you smell of air."

Her words seemed to be a constant puzzle, and while it made Eragon have to really think things through, he found it fascinating. It had been too long since he'd spent a good amount of time studying and learning. It was nice to have his mind challenged again.

Saphira studied the dog wordlessly. Eragon gave her a stern look. Don't even think about it. When she looked indignant, he grinned. "I'm afraid Barnabas probably looks like an appetizer to her." Kneeling down, he put his hand out in order to meet the Shepherd. "Barnabas? That's your name, friend?" He could just tap the animal's conscious with his own mind and he smiled at some of the thoughts he could feel just under the surface.

"Probably do smell of air," he confirmed to the pretty redhead in front of him. "All the flying we do. The wind brushing against us..." Straightening, he kept one hand lightly against the dog's head. "I'm Eragon. This is Saphira. And we're assuming this is Barnabas?"

Even a tap along the dog's conscious would tell a person that the four-legged creature was quite..sensible. Logical. And was currently a little offended at being thought of as an appetizer. But he made his way to Eragon and sniffed his hand before butting his head against it.

"Flying! Was flying once but only cooked a little before remembering shoes were still on the ground.." Nodding, she fell silent for a minute. Then smiled. "Delirium called Del." She pointed to herself. "Barnabas is him!" She pointed to the dog. "Companions meeting companions."

She was unique. Very unique. It was a bit like speaking to Angela, the fortune teller, only with a few more riddles. He ought to have been used to it, but Eragon still paused to sort out the words she'd say.

Delirium? A delightful name, especially considerig its meaning. "Delirium. Frenzied excitement." It could also mean crazy or disturbed, he knew, but was Eragon about to say that out loud in front of a girl who was...well, perhaps not crazy, but certainly not normal? Saphira snorted, and he knew she'd been listening to his own internal battle. Crazy might suit her, the dragon agreed. But Angela isn't exactly sane and she's proven her worth time and again.

She had a point, and Eragon rocked back on his heels, giving the dog an affectionate scratch behind the ears. "Where are you two from?"
