Rudolf leaned forward when his friend did, unconsciously mirroring the other man's actions as best he could. At the mention of food, his stomach growled audibly. He glanced down at the floor for a moment in mild embarrassment. "I haven't thought much about food today," he said, glancing back up at his friend. He tilted his head to one side very slightly. "Perhaps you could show me tonight? Just a quick walk, if you don't think it's too late." Would vendors have food this late at night? At home, there were taverns and cafes open until the wee hours of the morning, but Rudolf had no idea how things worked in this place.
