Giselle was happier than she had ever been since being snatched from New York into the land of Mirage. She was used to being taken from one realm to another and had acclimated to the foreign planet well. Especially since she'd had the opportunity to meet the genteel blond elf, Legolas. Just that morning, they'd serenaded the morning sun and sat while animals surrounded them to enjoy the music and the warmth. She was smitten. Not only was the man handsome and abundantly kind, he was a prince. An Elven Prince, of course, but she paid that no attention.
But, if she were being honest with herself, she would have to admit that she was a teensie bit annoyed at the moment. True, she was used to being thrust from one world to another, but she was getting tired of finding someone she might possibly love and then having them snatched away from her. As she glanced around the group that gathered while a sharp looking man spoke to them, she knew that Legolas hadn't been brought along. She stuck out her lower lip and crossed her arms over her chest, steadfastly refusing to do this again.
It would appear, however, as a key and journal floated toward her, that she had no choice in the matter. With a huff, she snatched the key and book from the air and then put on a smile. She would make the best of this the way she made the best of all her situations. Gathering her courage she looked around the motley group and flinched at the sight of a completely nude woman. It was not very warm, and she worried that she might catch cold. She would have spoken up, but Faith appeared to have enough people worrying over her.
She looked at the person beside her and flashed them a smile. "Well, this should be fun!"
