Rose glanced at him warily out of the corner of her eye. It wasn't that she didn't want to like him. Hell, she didn't even know him, and she'd learned quickly over the years not to judge on appearances or even first impressions. But there was so much going on just then. It was hard to imagine befriending anyone in this strange new place. Though if the ugly little creature was telling the truth and they really were there to stay, she might want to consider it at some point.
Until then, though... She sighed, running a weary finger over the key. "Same goes for you. I've too much to be doing back home to be stuck here for no good reason." Her parents were probably worried already. And Tony...he'd grow up not knowing her. It would've caused her to cry if she didn't still feel so cold and numb. "I suppose we'll be seeing each other around, then. Not much choice, place small as this one." She wasn't sure if she was looking forward to it or not, but at least he hadn't attempted to kill her or anything. That was usually a plus when meeting someone for the first time.
