Robin's brow furrowed as Gabrielle spoke of a place being called Mirage. He'd never heard of such a thing. Who named places after illusions? Oh well, she seemed certain that was not where they were. And when she spoke of her best friend, he saw her glance around. Robin thought she must be looking for her and he felt sorry that she'd been ripped from someone's company only to be thrust here. The same had happened to him, of course, but he didn't think about that now.
He nodded in response to her story about this other land called Mirage. "It must be very strange for you to be taken from your world and again from another." He noted her lack of weapons and touched the sword in its scabbard at his hip. He had all of his and was grateful that he'd been allowed to keep them when he'd been snatched. "Perhaps we could find a blacksmith to make you some new ones?" He glanced around, curious for the first time about all the buildings and what they could possibly hold. This was going to be an adventure, he was sure of it.
He nodded again. "I think I shall try it at some point, but I'm rather tired at the moment and think that I should find my room. Would you like help finding yours?" He didn't want to be presumptuous and imply that she had no skill for finding things on her own, but he didn't want to abandon her if there was a chance she did need help. He frowned as she elaborated on the Minotaur and just shrugged, hoping that when he decided to brave it he would meet no such creature. He did want to attempt it soon, however, he needed to get back to Marian and the rest.
