The witch put her hands over her ears, feeling like she might be deafened by the contrasting musical stuff. She listened to some interesting music herself, a lot of which her mother really, really disliked, but this even went beyond her taste in music. She backed away rather quickly, and was glad as the discordant noises faded away behind them.
The witch shrugged slightly. "Yeah, pretty much." She'd odone her own studies of the times, though not to the point of actually going back to them, as Rose had. Not that Tonks knew that. "Anyway, it's really weird. I don't see how we're supposed to live in a place like this." She frowned, wondering if it would ever change. If this place was anything like Mirage... but it seemed to her that it both was and wasn't.
"Yes, that sounds like a really brilliant plan." She glanced around, and then pointed. "Oh, look, dancing!" Obviously by the way that Tonks tripped over to the pavilion with the dance music coming from it, she would never be a dancer. But she did look curiously at the dancers, who were all human in form, but tended to have faces that you forgot as soon as you saw them. Shw frowned. "I bet that king guy made them..."
