Rose liked the girl's exploratory nature. A prickling thought occurred to her that she had a mind that would do well at Torchwood before reminding herself that Torchwood wasn't a part of her life, at least for the moment. And, if it ever was again, it was doubtful Tonks would be there as well. A shame, that.
"The eating here is overwhelming," Rose admitted, glancing around as her fellow inmates, as she was coming to think of them, were eating everything in sight. And the music lessons had sounded interesting. She had to admit, she loved learning the culture of others. She just wished it hadn't had to be at the expense of losing her home and her family. "But we could go see what's going on over there, if you wanted. No idea, honestly, I really haven't checked this place out quite as much as I probably should have."
If he were here with her, they would've already dissected the place, interviewed the other residents, and befriended the goblin things. But that was then and this was now, wasn't it? Rose wasn't looking forward to being best mates with her kidnappers, either.
