Tonks decided to take that as agreement. It was good enough for her, even if Rose was clearly doubtful. She could understand. She wasn't exactly excited about the idea of getting too comfortable here. But it did make sense to her to learn the lay of the land, at least for now. It would serve no purpose to be lost, and she might learn something that would be useful later.

"Right, then that works." She continued to look at the odd little thing until she got Rose's response. "Great." She raised her voice. "Excuse me? Weird ugly thing?" It obediantly stumped over to her, and she looked at it for a second. "Do you talk? I want to go to my room, where is it?"

The thing did talk, though in English that had even Tonks shuddering, it was so bad. "Okay, fine. Thanks." She tilted her head to the side. "Anything you wanna ask it, Rose? I can go to my room later, we could find out what sorts of things are here. Other than the bloody odd carnival around here."
