Giselle had read the note from Legolas and replied and had prepared for the quest in her own way. She packed a single change of clothing, a very practical traveling outfit, and wore the same now. It consisted of a pair of leggings, tennis shoes, a knit skirt and a matching tee. Her ginger hair was drawn up into a ponytail to keep out of her face and it fell to the middle of her back.
Several pieces of fruit, granola bars and a couple bottles of water went into the pack, as well as a small first aid kit. She rolled up a blanket and attached it to the backpack and found a sunhat. It might be drizzly and yucky outside, but she was not going to risk sunburn from the overcast clouds.
She tucked her journal under her arm and put her key in the pocket of her backpack and gave one last glance around her pink room. She grinned and shut the door. She was ready for an adventure. She skipped down the hall and exited the dorm to find many brightly colored structures rising and twisting around the city. She laughed and turned, spinning around lightly. She almost wished they had another day to explore the city, but she would rather be with Legolas and see if they could beat the puzzle Jareth presented them with.
Faith and her friend had gotten through, there was no reason she and Legolas and this Prince Caspian couldn't. She hurried toward the entrance of the Labyrinth and slowed her pace when she saw a young man sitting on a low wall. She beamed and walked toward him. He did kind of look like a prince. "Hello! I'm Giselle. Are you Prince Caspian?" She held out her delicate hand to greet him and adjusted the weight of the backpack on her back.
