This all was incredibly complicated and Tara couldn’t imagine it was any easier for anyone else. Obviously, it wouldn’t be. They all had been taken from their lives right in the middle of whatever they had been dealing with. Would the issues they were dealing with be there when they returned? Or would those problems have moved on without them? Not like there wasn’t enough issues here to fill a life time of turmoil as well.
With the words her head turned to look at the other woman, paying careful attention to what Rose spoke of before nodding in agreement. “It-it’s not what you’d, um, e-expect at all. O-or anyone would, I’d, um guess. It’s always hard to tell what’s going to happen w-when dealing with e-evil.” Eyes turned back to the area they were walking in for a moment, taking in the beauty of the area around them. “Oh, I’m from Sunnydale, California.” She paused for a moment before realizing that might mean nothing to the other woman. “In, um, America and you?”
