Rose Tyler Will Defend the Earth ([info]plusone) wrote in [info]labyrinth_rpg,
It was such a gentle offer, and there was something about the other girl that made Rose genuinely want to open up to her. Which was rare. That didn't happen so often with strangers. She barely even opened up to her own mother anymore, mostly because she couldn't help thinking they were all so tired of hearing it. She had the third floor of the house almost entirely to herself anyway, so she tended to keep to herself. But this girl, the one who seemed to know so much about so many things and yet was somewhat shy and awkward...she appealed to Rose.

"I--well, I mean, if you have the time and all." What was she saying? How could she even begin to explain the issues she'd had the last couple of years? Or that the nightmares should've been gone, knowing as she did that things were going to be okay. "You just seem...to know, you know? To know about things. How they work. How... How the mind works. No, not the mind. The...heart? Soul? Does that sound crazy? It probably does." But then, Rose was growing pretty used to sounding crazy. "I'm Rose, by the way, not sure I ever said that, awfully rude not even introducing myself."
