Yuna ([info]lady_summoner) wrote in [info]labyrinth_rpg,
The first thing she saw was the cat. She wasn't sure why. There were plenty of other things around. Perhaps it was just that it was moving, or that the low light around was reflecting off it's eyes. She paused, looking around more. She hadn't seen a cat here yet, and it interested her. And, also, made her wonder who would bring the animal in, because she somehow didn't see Jareth bringing in housepets now.

So she noticed that the cat was around someone's leg, and the grip on her staff tightened. She stopped in her tracks for a moment, and then approached, but slower and more cautiously. She was ready to summon, but wasn't going to assume she needed to. When she was a short distance away, she spoke. Though nervous and unsure, her voice was simply soft, but didn't show any of that. She just sounded very, very polite.

"Hello. You weren't at the ball?" She looked at the expression on his face, and sort of thought he might be new. But she tried not to assume anything. "You're not wearing a fancy outfit like everyone else was." She eyed him carefully, not really being used to meeting new people on her own, or even talking at all. Finally, she spoke again.

"You have a lovely cat." Though big, she noticed. Very big. Maybe it was the sort of thing that was normal wherever this man was from. She pulled short her thoughts with a low bow, though she held onto her staff the entire time, unwilling to lose the security it provided. "Forgive me, please. I am Yuna."
