Introductory
Hey everyone!

I'm a newcomer to the game, and to InsaneJournal, though I've been lurking around in LJ roleplays practically since it's inception. I'll be bringing in Lady Fuchsia Groan from Gormenghast. She's a bit of an odd duck to say the least and will probably find settling into the city quite traumatic. I'll let her bio - which you can find in this journal - explain more, should anyone want to check it out.

One note: she'll be making full use of her journal, but as she's not particularly gifted in the spelling department, most of her posts and replies will be transcribed for her. You may occasionally get something overexcited and unintelligible scrawled in crayon, however.

Fuchsia will be falling into the underground during the next in-game day, so that will be Sunday. I'm looking forward to playing with everyone!

Welcome, welcome! Jen here, obviously we've talked a little bit since I'm the all-powerful great and terrible Mod! Or something. Heh, no one said I couldn't have delusions of grandeur, right? Alright, let's get to the characters, shall we?

I have Jareth, who is mostly an NPC/Plot device. He's a jerk, and the one who thought Fuchsia would be a good addition to the Underground.

Also, this beautiful elf here, Legolas from Lord of the Rings. Happy, cheerful, flirtatious, and a kick ass archer. That about sums him up.

Third, Yuna from Final Fantasy. She's the quiet type, spends most of her time in her head, but can summon big monsters to fight for her. She's also a healer.

Fourth, Gabrielle from Xena. She's bright, bubbly, eternal optimist. Fun to have around, good at talking herself out of situations, and acutally not a bad fighter.

Last, Faith from Buffy! She's a Slayer, so super strength, speed, all that jazz. Kinda crazy at times.

Welcome! I'm Mel! Never head of her but I did take a look at the video in her journal! Funny and strange so I guess that's the appeal right? hehe! She'll be an interesting one to have wandering around here for sure.

I have Willow here from Buffy, Mostly chipper Wiccan who you wouldn't want to make angry but normally she's in high spirits.

Mercedes Thompson- She has her own book series, she's a Native American VW mechanic who happens to be able to change into a Coyote without the help of the full moon. Her home is full of werewolves, vampires and other magical creatures. She's friendly and sarcastic.

	It's an incredible miniseries made from some pretty epic books. Shakespeare in gothic mode smoking crack? Peake is hard to describe. \o/ I <3 Willow. 	Peake AND Gaiman? Well hello, my buttons, you have been soundly pressed. I actually joined because there was a Steerpike. After I was done dying of shock. I'm such a crappy Peake fan though. I fell in love with him when I read 'Boy in the Wilderness', or at least it was called something like that. It's a little story about Titus. Then I bought Gormenghast and it has sat on my bookshelf for years! I have watched the mini-series to death though. Steerpike will forever be extra pretty in my head, despite the descriptions to the contrary.

And Gaiman is just awesome. *grins*

Definite plottage will be involved. For sures. I can see Fuchsia all excited because Steerpike can now prove he's an adventurer, and Steerpike to be all "...crap".

Well, Gormenghast would be the only Peake I've read, and not for quite a while, so I had to reread the first few chapters just typing up my app. It differs from the miniseries in places, so I'm going to be taking Fuchsia from her miniseries version because... ahaha, I prefer it. >> She'll be informed by the books, though.

And yes, sadly the twisted looking red eyed freak will always be intense, intense JRM to me, forevermore.

Mostly I just see Fuchsia terrified and demanding to live in Jareth's palace. Steerpike will get her there, won't he? *_* Lol.

Howdy, I'm Ally. Welcome to the Laybrinth!

I have four characters: Xena, of course, from Xena: Warrior Princess. She's been described as a lunatic with lethal combat skills. But that was when she was persecuted by the Furies. Not an every day thing, thank goodness. I also have Giselle from Enchanted (

ever_ever_after). She's a bit of a nut. She talks to animals, has an unnecessary amount of optimism, and she sings at random moments. She can be annoying to some, but others love her. My next character is Robin of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (

taylorwade). He's the steal-from-the-rich-to-give-to-the-poor type of guy. He's all noble and friendly and would probably get along well with Tristen. He likes his ale and he's kind of a genius at archery. Last, but not least, is Cathal from a book series called the Sevenwaters series (since there are technically four books) by Juliet Marillier (

otherworld_heir). He's kind of hard to get to know. His father is Mac Dara, the Lord of the Oak of the Tuatha De Dannan and he's been trying to get Cathal back to the Otherworld since he was seven. He's a great warrior but he's kind of rude and sarcastic most of the time.
