Geoff's Intro
Hi, everyone! My name is Geoff, and I am excited to be part of this new community. I think the setting is very interesting, and should be a kick to explore.

I am only bringing in one character to start, Severus Snape, from the Harry Potter series. I expect many of you will know him from the books and/or movies, since they've all done rather well. He is a brooding potions master with a taste for dark magic. He does have a strong sense of loyalty and honour when he is sufficiently attached to something, but he also expects recognition and respect from others, and does not suffer irritants at all. I am still trying to figure out how to get him to socialize, but I am always up for 'Snape has a bad day' threads in the meantime.

Heloooo again! *dramatic wave* I bet you can't just have one character!! heh. *shifty eyes* umm.. too much sugar!

We already know Mercy has no use for Snape other then target practice but now that I'm playing Willow from Buffy as well I think she'd want to pick his brain on potions, only dark magic = bad for Will. No more Grr Argh blow up the world for Willow! Besides can't piss off the natives lol!

Looking forward to playing with ya again.

Hey, Mel! Yeah, I don't think he would have a problem with showing Willow a thing or two, as long as she's in "good student" mode. He does like showing off, just not looking like he's showing off.

Mercy he will remember and already have a reason to dislike.

Again, I'm kind of intrigued to how Rose is going to take to him. She's also one who has her own initiative, but only at times, and she's also rather helplessly devoted to someone from her past (we're on to you, Severus!). I'm curious. I'm not willing to guarantee one way or the other yet, I say we see what happens!

And then I talk myself out of playing someone like James or Lily.... This is going to be come a sick addiction at some point, I can already see it.

Sounds good. We'll leave it up in the air. They may both be too stubborn to get along.

*blank stare* Sorry, who the fuck are you? Hi, baby! I'm Jen. You should stop playing with Google Earth and start responding to people's greetings! Jussayin'.

Okay, so I think you know the characters I have by now. Snape and Faith have history, we need to work that in somehow. Legolas would take great delight in annoying Snape. Yuna isn't sure how she feels about him, really, since she doesn't really dislike many people and feels a little sorry for him. And Gabrielle... you know, I have no clue on that one.

:-D I'm going to bed.

Hi, Jen! But, but, I'm in the middle of a fascinating game of 'let's follow the Syr Darya River"! I have to know how the story ends! Will the river end before it reaches (what's left of) the Aral Sea? Will the poor people of Kyzylorda, Kazakhstan, rob it of it's life's blood to grow their apples or cotton or whatever? I guess I will have to tune in next time...

I think Snape already knows Faith, Legolas, and Yuna. Gabrielle I'm not sure of. He respects the work of Aurors, and people who can take care of themself, but if she tries to stand up to him when he thinks he's right, she might irritate him greatly.

I think they should grow some sort of apple/cotton hybrid. Cotton that smells like apples! Or apples that taste like cotton! It's a great idea. They should listen to me.

He's never met Legolas, but they've seen each other around, probably. Hee, it should be interesting! We can just throw Snape into threads with my characters at random. Flip coins or something.

Heya! Nice to meet you! I'm the Helena/Steerpike mun, Rhymer.

Not sure how my pups would take Snape, but will be interesting to find out. If you want to thread, just let me know!

Hi! Nice to meet you too!

I'm not familiar with either of your pups, but that just makes it more fun to find out how things will go!

Hi Geoff! Nice to see you again, and maybe we'll actually get to thread this time, eh? Uh, it's Ally, btw. :D

So, I have four this time around, cause your wife is insane and encourages my own insanity. Jussayin'. Xena and Giselle you're familiar with, I think, although we never did thread any of them together. Robin and Cathal are new. Robin is Robin Hood of the Prince of Thieves variety and Cathal is from a series of books by Juliet Marillier called the Sevenwaters series. He's a moody and sarcastic bastard who might get along well with Snape, but we'll just have to see.
