Oh, Letha had listened to it all. At least, any bit that she could get her hands on. Hearing him play, perform his music, made her feel closer to him and miss him more all at the same time. It had been the only thing she had. Yes, she could have reached out to him, had begged him to come back to her, but being caught in Rinth wasn't something she wanted to push on anyone. Even now she was sorry that he had come looking for her only to find that he could no longer leave if he wished. She hoped he never regretted come here.
Her eyes opened once he rejoined her outside. Dark glittering pools following him as he moved about before taking his seat. She could smell the pie as she held it in one hand. When she cut into it and brought a piece to her lips she closed her eyes as the flavors exploded on her tongue. "Marvelous," she murmured more to herself than to Jeremiah.
"I missed this too, Jeremiah," she said softly, looked at him where he sat beside her. She had missed being comfortable with him, she hadn't found another that could make her feel as relaxed as he did after he left. Yes, she'd had flings here and there, she had needs, but none had been as worthy as he. None had given her simple pleasure as just sitting beside her as he did. "Tell me about your travels," she then asked of him. "What did you see? Who did you meet? Did you find any that broke your heart?" She asked the questions with a smile.
