Re: 10 minutes later...
Emotions was not something that Letha herself was great at. She kept everything hidden, locked away, only to be let out in journals. She kept a stoic look on her face most times, moving through life as if nothing touched her.
Right now, however, she was scared and she was letting it show.
Tasty treats. They had been tasty, and even had been filling. Maybe if she hadn't ate so much... "You...were going to lick ice cream off of me?" She asked, a corner of her lips pulling slightly. "Four hundred and one years old and I've never had someone lick ice cream off of me," she shook her head.
She knew he was doing whatever to keep her mind off of the mystery she was going through. Letha felt as if she were reverting back into a child. She was ill, she felt famished and sick and feverish and cold. There was nothing to fix the situation. She really, truly thought this was the end of it for her. Rinth had finally come to let her go and it decided to be a bitch one last time before it took her. She gave a soft sigh as he sat, pulling her into his arms; she guessed if she were to die, this was the best place to be. She felt the needle, her head resting against his shoulder and her body shivering from whatever was going on with her.
"You sawed off your own leg?, with a piece of glass?" She rose an eyebrow, then winched as the movement seemed to hurt. "And you used the boot laces to stitch your leg? Seriously?" She felt her body start to relax, whatever pain that had been wracking her body was lessened and she sighed in relief. "I think your miracle drug is working," she murmured. "Can you carry me to my bed? I'd much rather be in my room, so no one else sees me like this. Don't need to alarm anyone."
