Jax took in a breath and let it out slowly as Lily's face flushed a brilliant red and then told him no she wasn't pregnant. Sitting back, he lifted his beer to his lips and took a long draw as he tried to figure out the emotions that had taken him by storm just then. "It's like any other normal pregnancy," he stated.
"Hey, hey, no, don't apologize," Jax immediately shook his head and leaned forward, reaching out across the table towards her. "I'm sorry I jumped to that conclusion, I've never been asked that question before," he explained. "I'm just glad that you aren't," he started to say and then realized how horrible that sounded and he raised both hands in a mock surrender before she got upset with him. "I mean, not that I'm opposed to having my own kids one day, definitely not something I've ever really thought about, but we just started doing..whatever this is that we are doing..and I'd like to get to know you more before you start producing my offspring," she gave a small smile.
