"Would it be wrong of me to be worried about you?" Jax countered, his eyes watching her lift the glass to her lips. It wasn't unknown of him to worry, though he generally worried about the pack more so than he did of anyone else. Now, he was worrying about a girl that he had actually asked on a date. It was...strange feeling but a good feeling.
"I suppose you could say there is some danger to turning," he nodded. It is a time we are most vulnerable and if we have enemies it is probably the best time for them to strike," he explained. "Thankfully, that hasn't happened. And I guess there are other risks, but like being a witch is a part of you, being a cat is a part of me. The difference is that I can't really choose, I need to shift at least once a month," he gave a small smile.
He looked down at his plate and started cutting into his steak again, pausing as he looked up at her, sincerity in his eyes. "Just be careful, and if you find yourself in harms way or need some sort of help give me a call," he held his eyes on hers for a moment and then back down to his steak where he finished sawing a piece off and popping it into his mouth.
