"Oh, if there are promises of bacon wrapped in cinnamon rolls, this date is going to be the best ever," Jax laughed. He wanted one of those rolls because he had a feeling it was going to be almost like heaven. The waitress came then to get their orders for drinks, appetizers and main meals, when that was done, Jax was moving on with the conversation.
"That we do," he nodded about eventually growing into what they were. "And you are different," he said with a small smile. "You may not have were genes or are a vampire, but you are definitely unique in your own way." And his words were true. Yes, she was a witch and she could do her thing with the dead or something like that, but she also had things about her that were uniquely hers. She was definitely different that she had caught his attention and made him think more about his life and having her in it. He picked up his beer that the waitress delivered and tilted the top towards Lily. "To beginnings and being different," he grinned with the toast.
