Gillian snickered softly. She wasn't exactly the eyelash batting, giggling type. Even when she wanted something. But Liliana was right. Some guys were so easily swayed by flirtation. Gillian just didn't have the stomach for it unless the attraction was there.
"No hidden meaning," Gillian assured her with a laugh of her own. "Don't mind me. Sometimes my mouth continues on without my brain." She led Liliana inside and set the foot stool to the side and out of the way. The shop was empty, but she was hoping business would pick up after lunch. Setting the staple gun on the front counter, Gillian shrugged out of her peacoat and moved around to hang it up on the coat rack she had near the back supply room door. "My recommendations are based on what it is you might be looking for. I've got some new rejuvenating hand lotions out, cranberry scented, if that's your thing. Candles are always a big seller too." She walked back to Liliana and smiled, her hands on her hips. "Balsam scented is popular around this time of year, if that's your thing."
