Hunky probably already was laughing at the pair. But Liliana didn’t mind making a fool out of herself sometimes. Whatever got people grinning right? Not that she really thought they looked that ridiculous. It was just a short girl jumping up and down on a stool to get lights hung. It was probably pretty typical around this month actually. Plus there were vastly more shorties out there than there were tall. Least Liliana sure thought so.
Still even if she was pretty nimble on her feet, Liliana appreciated the helpful steadying hand behind her each time she jumped. Just because she was all dexterous didn’t mean she couldn’t fall. She had. Plenty of times. And out of all those times she usually landed on her feet. Once or twice…not. But no one was perfect all the time. Not even cats.
Liliana laughed lightly and shook her head “You didn’t ask. I offered. And either way….that whole fear of heights thing isn’t all that silly. Pretty normal. So I’m kinda silly for not having it instead.” She offered with a grin not entirely seen since she had her head upwards to her goal at hand. Which was lights.
It only took a couple precarious jumps for Liliana to get the whole top section done up. The rest would be pretty easy peasy. “See, only took a minute and both of us are in one piece.” No one needed to spend the holidays all broken from lights. At least not physically broken from them. There were probably some that broke due to the stress of trying to detangle the bastards. Liliana damn near had flipped out on a strand herself.
Jumping down Liliana surveyed her work. “It’s looking good.” She offered up about the decorations. Some places went…wow hello Christmas like and while that was kind fun it could be overkill in a small shop. This looked perfect for the place.
