Okay, so Red had a point on the height thing. Liliana grinned even as she glanced down at herself. Usually she’d have some counter move like I’m hearing five inch heels and I’m not short! But today she had gone a little more practical and the heels were only two inches. Which was the shortest that she probably even owned. “Anyone as short as me has picked up some nifty tricks on how to do the tall people things.” Liliana remarked with a knowing smile. Her tricks really had nothing to do with height and everything to do with being very good at scaling things now but….that wasn’t entirely the point.
“Plus…” Liliana added on as she approached the shop and glanced at the doorway. “If I fall off anything trying to put something up, I’ll land on my feet. Us cats are good at that.” Liliana used to be pretty careful with saying what she was to people. Even other supernaturals. But Rinth sort of took that wariness away real quick. First, the town was filled to the brim with supernatural sorts. And two, well most knew anyways. Oh and three, most likely people would find out anyways. The town, while big, was damn small sometimes.
“I could go all scale happy too.” It looked like the frame of the door would give hold enough for the move. But she’d probably need to take off her shoes to make sure she didn’t screw up the woodwork or anything. Which…maybe was going too far.
Liliana blamed it all on the lack of sleep.
Snickering slightly at the idea Liliana glanced around the streets before back up at Red. “Or I could ask hunky over there. He looks like the helpful sort.” Which was completely impossible to tell but Liliana was good at convincing people.
