There had never been any rationality with them. Of course, Tuesday wasn't the most rational person who'd ever lived anyway. She had a way of making snap decisions that were sometimes good and more often came back to haunt her. It had seemed perfectly normal to move across the country with Bryce when he'd asked her. She hadn't given it a second thought... and now here she was, stuck in one place forever. She couldn't really blame him for that, though; she'd believed him when he'd said he would never have brought her here if he'd remembered that she couldn't leave.
His hand on her foot sent tiny sparks through her. "I think that sounds great," Tuesday said, giving him her warmest smile. It was getting close to Christmas, and it would be nice to feel like she wasn't alone, also to have a date with Bryce. Something nice and normal, maybe a step in repairing whatever had happened to them.
