He looked around the room, and felt more out of place than he had since he crashed. The walls were a rich red with a gold-colored designed faintly imprinted on the wallpaper. The furniture was all a dark stained wood, and the sheets on the bed were rumpled. It was far more richly decorated than the farmhouses and barracks he was used to.
He rubbed the back of his neck, fingers tangling with the chain of his dogtags. He turned to look at her as she spoke.
"Captain Charlie Edwards, US Army Air Corps. Currently attached to the RAF."
