Lots of fucked up things can strip people of 'humanity'. I've seen how pre-Risers look at my generation and the kids, and I can hazard a guess at how a lot of people here would look at me when they learned I've shot six year olds. I think Texas and the others are results of their environments, not fundamentally inhuman. How Texas acts is how she's learned is her best shot at survival and/or other things she wants. That's a very human trait.
